Hi guys, it's Juniper yet again with another holiday-spirited post!
Today I'll show you what the recent first ever FairyABC Christmas looked like. It was full of surprises indeed and let me tell you the parties were amazing.
The fist thing I've got for you to see is some random screenshots from during the party and then the next day after it - where me, Harmony Magicheart, Petunia Magicspirit and a few others looked like Christmas tree ornaments or maybe like a rainbow squad....Rainbow Squad sounds much better don't you think?
As you can probably notice, the Ballroom was changed and even Wind Muddle himself had to come online not just to say hi to us all but to also make sure the Ballroom update was working properly ( there was trouble at the beginning the whole of Havendish Square glitched and we couldn't get to it but luckily our boss and creator made a fix that saved the day!)
Anyways, these screenshots are from the European timezone party. I have no screenshots from the party/parties that were happening in the US timezone because I wasn't able to attend ( it was 2 am for me),
And, not only did I take these awesome screenshots but I also made two videos to capture the feeling of being there even better.

Aren't they great? Well, I know that there are some technical issues for example they're not exactly full screened.... But, I'll try to work out why that happened for my next clips. For now, this is it though and I'd like to wish you all a Happy New Year too - lots of health, pocket money and love & success in every field you have in your lives right now, and of course have fun tomorrow night!
I'll be gone for a few days so, I really do hope you have fun and I'll talk to you again on the 2nd or the 3rd of January! Tomorrow the world celebrates a special holiday, one where all families come together on a dinner table and share a meal and a present with their loved ones - this is Christmas.
I've been thinking about what to write for this post and after a while it kind of came to me.
It's sad how in this world a lot of people still don't get the meaning of Christmas. But what is amazing is how many kids and young adults do know and are trying to share that.
They've all known since forever that the meaning isn't in what you get, but who you get to be with.
These holidays are meant for family time and friends time, not for whose gift is bigger or prettier.
Of course, it's nice to show someone a little attention which would go a long way but not just via a gift - remember the best one is your presence there with your loved one/s.
Christmas is an amazing holiday which we can use to show the world that love still does exist, in many forms and in many places.
This is what Christmas means. I hope you all never forget it and remember to share it with the generations to come.
Now that we got that special part done with ( I was really trying to not sob while typing that I'm such an emotional wreck sometimes you don't even wanna know ) let's just jump right to the fact that it's winter already.
Yep, the Pixie Hollow Winter Season has almost officially kicked off to a good start. All we need now is the actual winter-like Hollow to get the real chill-feel going around.
Speaking of which, the update should happen today. Also, another thing I'd like to say is a reminder for the Famous Fairies Christmas Ball.
There are two parties - technically run by us moderators all the same but within different timezones. You see, me and a lot of other fairies and sparrowmen couldn't make it to the staff's US time-suited parties because of the timezone differences and we decided - me and Crystal Airshine that is - that it was high time we made a party that would fit our timezone for once. And so, the two-part party for Christmas happened.
Anyhow, you can find the dates on the forum, but just as same I'll just type them out here below with date & time for your convenience:

I know it's a little early for this, but I want to wish you all a Merry Christmas and I hope you are going to have a nice time with your families and friends. Also thanks upfront for the same because I know in the comments you're going to reply the same to me but I don't celebrate this weekend - I'm from one of the few countries that celebrates 6-7th of January.

Today, I'm here for a different matter though. I would like to share some information with you.
First off, today was quite a day for me in real life. I'm in an organization which is a non-profit, non-government one and its global and there I'm a new member to the IT team - meaning I get to help them manage their official blog, do pictures for promotion materials and such.
Today was our very first training session and besides getting a thorough explanation on how to work on Wordpress, which is their blogging platform - we also learned how to make personalized e-mails aka newsletters.
The presenter gave us the name of a website we'd be using for our official business but he said that we can mess with it in our free time as well since it's free.
So, right afterwards, I took the liberty of listening to what he said and meddle with the options the site had. I created an official e-mail for the blog and signed up. Easy so far.
Then, I explored all the options and combined with my memory from the 'class' we had about it today it was super easy.
As I was doing all of this, it hit me - the creation of an official mail for my blog was a perfect thing. I could make a newsletter for that - I said to myself thinking it would be great.
But then, I stopped and thought for a second. A lot of people delete those e-mails because they often spam them with news every day. So, I decided in order to not overload your e-mails instead of newsletters for every post I make - which was my primary idea - it would be a newsletter for things such as holiday greeting cards, official PHF Events reminder, my own blog event reminders or FairyABC event reminders.
The next part followed. Nobody to send all this to. The only e-mail I have from the readers is from a fellow blogger - Marigold Sunjewel. But, still I didn't want to send anything without gathering more e-mails.
So, in order to do this - I'll need you to comment down below - fairy name and e-mail where I can send you this. I promise it's not malware or spam in any way. I just thought it would be great practice for when I use it officially.
The other thing I wanted to discuss is the following:
You'll probably notice how the stories are not on either of the blogs anymore and wonder where they've gone to. Well, since I opened up a department for that over on Wattpad I figured there was no point in keeping the stories on my blog anymore. Instead, I created a bookcase on the Wordpress blog and I provided links for it on the Blogger one.
That way readers from both providers will find their way to the reading materials - the stories & books.

Okay, so that's one surprise out of the way. Now, the other one is .... I started working on a Miraculous Ladybug storybook as well!
For now there's only one story - or wattysode as I call it ( wattpad episode - my own word combo ) thanks to me being forgetful and not having time to post the other two. But, that'll be done right after I've posted this.

It took a while to figure out how it all would work out, but eventually my brain found the solution.
Anyways, this project has been in my mind for a very long time and I only hope that you'll like it as much as I did when I was doing it - six times....yeah....for me sixth time's the charm apparently o.o
So, before I show you what I've done, I'm going to let you know what I plan to do on the blog.
I was thinking about what I can add to this blog, and I realized I've never shared my badges with you all.....

This is why I've come to the conclusion that this blog needs a My Badges tab.
There you'll see all the badges I earned while playing in Pixie Hollow until 2013 and now in FairyABC in 2016.
The other thing I wanted to discuss is the story.....The one I once again failed to post a chapter from.
Yep, that story....the one you're slowly giving up on.......But that's okay because it's actually going to be posted by the end of my stay online today! ( I will try to do it guys, If not tomorrow....).
In any case, chapter one is ready and I'll soon start working on chapter two.
And now, finally the 'secret' project I've been working on:
I felt the need for this to be done....There are just so many amazing blogs out there and I am truly sorry I couldn't include all of them in this video. I only managed to show 5 blogs I know are always active and updated and I really am happy that this actually came to be because honestly you guys need A LOT more readers than you already have.
And while those who watch this clip ( excluding you five blog owners ) go to see your blogs, they'll most likely notice the mile-long 'blogs I follow' & 'follow these blogs' lists and take a look at at least a part of those as well.

Well, when the time comes you'll receive something similar but for now I want to share news with you regarding a story I promised I'd post a very VERY long time ago ( I am so sorry about this 0_0).
The story will be over on Wattpad shortly - as soon as I write a title on the cover that is.... Erm, yeah I'm working on that.
Anyhow, I've also got one last announcement.
Recently I was scrolling around the FairyABC Forum page when I noticed a thread asking for talented writers like yours truly here to apply to be official moderator-writers for FairyABC.
I thought about it for a minute and without any hesitation I applied. And, well....See for yourselves:

That's right - you're looking at an official - for the moment - quest writer! In the future I won't be just a quest writer - at least that's what I was told when I suggested them title names for my job. They told me that I'm simply a writer, and later on I saw that till some point I have moderator privileges on the forum too ( I don't think I can ban people temporarily or permanently though.).
Well, I'm excited to bring you more good news from that front and as for my own home field - check Wattpad: @mtrainpanda today to see and read The Pixie Diaries' new story!

But...I come with some exciting news!
Today when I logged in on FairyABC I accidentally ended up in a new place that was placed this weekend as a part of the party event for Halloween - which is today by the way so happy Halloween!
As I was saying....It took a little flying around until I read the name of the place - 'Halloween Meadow - Outisde of Pumpkin'.
I also saw a sign that said 'Inside Pumpkin'.
The entrance to this place is a pink square next to the pumpkin in Havendish Square that says 'Eat Me.' I tried several times thinking I'd get a Silly Sweet but instead I kept ending up in the Halloween Meadow over and over again,

Nope, I wasn't. In fact, I was waiting for a special thing to get itself prepared for you to see.
Now, as you all know thanks to the FairyABC forum's admins - there was a two-night party/event going on at FairyABC this past weekend!
That's right, last Saturday and Sunday were dedicated to today's holiday for the US, UK and everyone else who celebrates it even if their country doesn't - Halloween!
Wind Muddle and his crew came up with a brilliant way to drop a little surprise for us during an event. The surprise was a small, but for us major update in the game - the adding of the Silly Sweets.
Now, in the upper left corner of the game screen right under the map symbol you'll see a cupcake button. ( In case you don't see it right away, just refresh the game and it'll show up.)
Click it and you'll get a list of all the Silly Sweets you currently have - they'll be displayed in a row one next to the other on the bottom half of the game screen. You'll see them, don't worry. When you eat any of them you get to shoot fireworks, become an ice cream or even a Snowman!
Back to the topic - the party....
It all started out with us hanging around at Havendish Square:
Then, we started using the Silly Sweets and well....Take a look for yourselves:
By then, even more Fairies had arrived and joined us. All of their costumes were very creative and unique too!
What went on afterwards was pretty much us being bored and waiting for the party to start while chatting and counting down the minutes till its beginning.
Later on, it did start....And it was pixietastic!
This was taken while we were all gathering at the Ballroom - the main place for the party. I don't really know If the others moved in the Tearoom later on, because I wasn't around to see - I had to go sleep because in my timezone it was 2 am.
Anyways, before I did leave......
Fawn made a surprise appearance and so did one other person you can notice wearing a Pixie Pals heart in this picture - our very own beloved creator ( and for some of us boss :p ) - Wind Muddle himself. Nora as you can notice was there too and so was Violet.
It was amazing to see everyone gathered like this in such a huge number for one event. Imagine how many more might show up for future events like this!
But, let us not stop the surprise drop-ins there now.
Another friendly face showed himself up for the first time ever in this remake - The Minister of Autumn!
Of course he might not look as fancy as the original - but he was super nice to everyone and he complemented our masks and gave us Silly Sweets - 20 for each Fairy & Sparrow man!
And....When we thought the surprise visits were actually over ...
Tinkerbell. I didn't notice she was even there until a fairy screamed in the chat 'Tink is here!' - then of course I had to fly around and spot her in the crowd - but it wasn't that hard nobody was disguised as her - luckily.
And for real this time, that was about it from the famous fairy/sparrow man visits.
Next, in this post I'm going to make a showcase of all the costumes I had with a picture of who I was disguised as.

Yeah, I know I had a LOT of costume changes - and none of these were easy to pull off!
There were other great fairies and sparrow men out there too - I even saw a pretty Belle from 'Beauty and The Beast' ( Violet )!
Also, I spotted a Harry Potter fairy - Harmony Magicheart who actually changed my mind and thus Hermione Pixie was born.
The reason why I became Alya later was my other best friend Shinymist aka Harmony Songera. She had disguised herself as Marinette from 'Miraculous Ladybug' so as her best friend I decided to be Alya - Marinette's best friend in the series.
Cheshire Kitty & Clawdeen Wolf were kinda inspired by the shows themselves. I love both shows and I decided to dress up as a character from each of them.
